Oral History Seminar
news 09 March 201210:39
The Oral History Network of Ireland is conscious that there are ethical and legal considerations in the collection, preservation and use of recorded memories of the past which ought to be deliberated in a public forum by people who have relevant professional expertise.
The network is bringing together a panel of experts to lead a discussion of the ethics of oral history, intellectual copyright, freedom of expression and the legal ramifications of the collection, storage and dissemination of oral narratives.
