Strategic Directions 2007–2012 re-affirms the Academy’s commitment to its traditional mission and refines its strategies in support of scholarship and research, and in support of services to its Members and the wider society. In the period to 2012, the Academy will prioritise the advancement, celebration and promotion of excellence in scholarship and research, while simultaneously embracing a greater role in communicating the knowledge, learning and wider contribution derived from scholarship and research in the service of society.
