Aims of the Committee

The Engineering Science Committee will bring to the attention of the Academy appropriate matters of interest within its area of competence. The Committee is constituted in such a way as to have available to it expertise across all of the main disciplinary areas of Engineering Science, i.e.

  • Bioengineering;
  • Chemical Engineering;
  • Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Architecture;
  • Computer Science and Engineering (including IT and Informatics);
  • Electrical Engineering (including Communications);
  • Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering;
  • Systems Engineering.
