Historical Studies : published proceedings of the Irish Conference of Historians The conference proceedings of the biennial Irish Conference of Historians have been published regularly since 1958, under the series title ‘Historical Studies’. This series of essay collections has had a succession of different commercial publishers since it first began over 60 years ago. The publisher of the most recent sets of conference proceedings (volumes 25 to 27, conferences held in 2005, 2007 and 2009) is Irish Academic Press (www.irishacademic.com), while UCD Press (www.ucdpress.ie) published volumes 20 to 24, containing essay collections based on the proceedings of the five conferences held between 1995 and 2003.

The biennial reports of the Irish Committee of Historical Sciences, now under the auspices of the Academy Committee for Historical Sciences, are printed in Irish Historical Studies (www.irishhistoricalstudies.ie)
