Welcome to the Royal Irish Academy Library, one of Ireland’s premier research libraries. The Library manages major manuscript, book, pamphlet and drawings collections. We offer comprehensive access and outreach programmes, facilitate master classes and visits, hold exhibitions and lecture series and publish on the collections. Content is added to our web pages on a regular basis and we invite your comments and enquiries.

Please note:

The Library will close between 1-2pm on Friday 27th November.

The Library will open at 10.30am on Monday 30th November.

The Library will close at 4pm on Thursday 3rd December.

The exhibition will be closed on the following days as the room will be in use for conferences : 25th (am), 27th and 30th November
