Téacs iontach ón Meánaois é Buile Suibhne ina suíonn prós agus filíocht le chéile. Cuireann Rónán, cleireach, mallacht ar rí Ultach, Suibhne, agus téann an rí bocht le craobhacha. Is éan nó leathéan é dar leis agus canann sé duanta buile faoina chuid trioblóidí go léir nó é ag moladh an dúlra gan staonadh. Sa léiriú drámata seo tá leaganacha nua i nGaeilge agus i mBéarla ó Rody Gorman, chomh maith le rian fuaime cruthaithe ag an gcumadóir Fergus Kelly, agus teilgfidh Margaret Lonergan íomhánna ar scáileán mór.

Buile Suibhne or Sweeny's Madness, is a medieval tale in prose and poetry that describes how Suibhne, an Ulster king, is cursed by the cleric Rónán, and subsequently goes mad. Thinking himself to be a bird, he takes to wandering the wilderness, reciting poems that evoke his suffering, or praise nature. Curated by Liam Carson, this multi-media staging of Buile Suibhne features modern Irish and English versions by poet Rody Gorman; a soundtrack created by composer Fergus Kelly; and screen projections by artist Margaret Lonergan.
