Delia Ferri is a Professor of Law at Maynooth University Department of Law and Co-Director of the ALL Institute. Delia is also a member of the Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute (MUSSI), and of the Maynooth Centre for European and Eurasian Studies (MUCEES). She is an affiliated researcher at the Dirpolis Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (Italy) and a fellow at the Burton Blatt Institute of Syracuse University (USA). In addition, Delia is a qualified lawyer (Avvocato) member of the Italian Bar since 2008. Delia is currently involved in two international projects funded under the Horizon2020 programme, and in December 2019 she was awarded a prestigious ERC Consolidator grant. She has also taken part in several research projects and EU-funded studies. She has given several invited presentations in national and international conferences, including at the EU Fundamental Rights Agency and the Italian Senate. She has published extensively in the fields of EU law, and international and comparative disability law. Delia holds a J.D. in Law (Laurea in Giurisprudenza), awarded magna cum laude from the University of Verona School of Law, a LL.M. from Trinity College Dublin, and a Doctorate in Italian and European Constitutional Law from the University of Verona.
