Published in late 2020, the delayed launch of Irish Historic Towns Atlas no. 30, Dungarvan will take place in Dungarvan Library followed by a lecture by the author, John Martin, as part of Heritage Week 2022

Launch of the Irish Historic Towns Atlas for Dungarvan prepared by John Martin for the Royal Irish Academy. This fantastic resource traces the evolution of settlement, society and economy in Dungarvan. Discover the origins of this coastal town, its archaeology, architecture, industries and trade over the centuries as mapped and narrated in this comprehensive piece of work under the dedication of John Martin. Copies of the Atlas will be available to purchase. Following the launch, John will present a talk on Dungarvan and its Maritime Heritage in what promises to be a very interesting presentation.
