Nowlan Digitisation grants scheme open to researchers for 2023

23 February 2023

The Royal Irish Academy is delighted to open the Nowlan Digitisation Grants scheme to applications within the discipline of History until Wednesday, 12 April.

Professor Nowlan left a generous bequest to the Academy which has funded The Kevin B. Nowlan Digitisation Grant scheme. The scheme aims to expand the range of digitised historical sources available through open and free access to researchers. The Nowlan Digitisation Grants scheme opened to applications in the discipline of History on 22 February and will close on 12 April 2023. To see examples of previously funded projects see here
