
Deirdre Robertson
Behavioural Scientist ESRI
Deirdre Robertson is a behavioural scientist whose research focusses on how to use psychology and behavioural economics to inform public policy. Deirdre works in the Behavioural Research Unit of the ESRI. Prior to this, she was an Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow in Trinity College Dublin and a postdoctoral researcher in Columbia University, New York. She did her PhD research in Trinity College Dublin. Deirdre is enthusiastic about communicating research. She is a regular media contributor and was the winner of the national FameLab science communication competition in 2017. She has helped to train other scientists and early career researchers taking part in subsequent years.
