The call for applications to the Royal Irish Academy Archaeological Small Research Grants Scheme is now open for 2018. The objective of this scheme is fund research projects in Irish archaeology, excluding excavation, which provide a significant and original contribution to archaeological knowledge. - Deadline Thursday 05 April 2018 More details and application form

Archaeology C14 Radiocarbon Dates Scheme

Applications are invited for the 2018 round of the Archaeology C14 Radiocarbon Dating Scheme. The Royal Irish Academy in association with Queen's University Belfast, offers radiocarbon dating for up to twelve applicants per annum, to be used for the purposes of archaeological research in Ireland. A minimum of two out of the twelve radiocarbon dates offered are exclusively allocated to students each year.
