Standing Committee for Archaeology

The Standing Committee for Archaeology was established in September 2014 and is a standing committee within the Academy’s Historical Studies committee.

The committee plays a key role in the assessment and administration of a number of our grant programmes. The programmes include the Archaeology C14 Radiocarbon Dates Scheme, the Excavation grants scheme, the Research grants scheme and the Archaeological Research for World Heritage Sites scheme.
