Frances Ruane MRIA Masterclass

28 March 2018

Frances Ruane gave the first masterclass in our Women in Leadership Series, which sees outstanding women leaders share their experiences with the next generation of female leaders to inspire, motivate and mentor.

In what was a very informative session moderated by Dr Michelle Cullen (Head of Inclusion & Diversity, Accenture Ireland) Frances shared her experiences, philosophies and tips from her career sparking great discussion and sharing of ideas and opinions. Michelle did a great job of moderating which gave everyone a chance to participate in the discussion. Frances advised participants to mentor and help other women in their careers, seeking a mentor even at a senior level is not a sign of weakness it is a positive experience; use friends outside your organisation to help you get clarity yourself; get headspace - either take a break or do a short course and finally be patient as change takes a long time.

The format was very good. I enjoyed the free-format / lightly moderated conversation best
