Archaeology Radiocarbon Dates Scheme

The Royal Irish Academy in association with Queen's University Belfast offers radiocarbon dating for up to twelve applicants per annum to be used for the purposes of archaeological research in Ireland. A minimum of two out of the twelve radiocarbon dates offered are exclusively allocated to students each year.

 

 

This scheme offer is open to research projects and academics from all levels. Undergraduate students, post-graduate students, established researchers etc. are welcome to apply.

Applications will be considered for further research emanating from what were originally developer-led projects, provided all licensing requirements have been met in full

The Archaeology Radiocarbon dates scheme opens on 3rd September and closes on 8th October 2021.
