Rural Conversations was a series of three rural stakeholder consultative events produced by the RIA’s Social Sciences Committee in association with the Department of Rural and Community Development.  Stakeholders’ feedback on economic development, social cohesion and sustainable communities in rural Ireland was recorded at each of the events.  The findings from that feedback and suggestions for future rural government policy by a broad range of rural stakeholders are presented in this report.

NUI Galway, Dundalk Institute of Technology and Waterford Institute of Technology hosted the series in their institutions, as cluster centres to accommodate a wide representation of stakeholders drawn from around the country.
