The Royal Irish Academy/Acadamh Ríoga na hÉireann champions research. We identify and recognise Ireland’s world class researchers. We support scholarship and promote awareness of how science and the humanities enrich our lives and benefit society. We believe that good research needs to be promoted, sustained and communicated. Linen bag: A to U alphabet

€ 35.00

The Old Irish alphabet contains just the letters A to U. The letters on this bag appear in medieval Irish manuscripts in the collections of the Royal Irish Academy.
Made in Ireland.
They were designed by Fidelma Slattery here at the Royal Irish Academy.
We collaborated with McNutt in Donegal who wove the fabric from recycled flax and Pixalili, also in Donegal, printed the design on the fabric.
We have created 30 bags in this first run.We hope to make more in 2020.
