Conservation Architect Grangegorman Development Agency
Una Sugrue is a Conservation Architect who worked at the Grangegorman Development Agency from 2011 to 2021, providing advice and assistance to her colleagues in relation to building conservation and the care of all of the protected structures on the Campus. She is now working as a freelance architectural researcher with the Buildings of Ireland Charitable Trust for the latest volume in their Ireland Series: North Connacht - Leitrim, Roscommon and Sligo.
The Grangegorman Campus contains 11 protected structures together with the boundary wall, which has also protected status. Grangegorman also has an extensive nineteenth century archaeological resource which requires careful management during the redevelopment of the site.
