THE ROYAL IRISH ACADEMY IS IRELAND'S LEADING BODY OF EXPERTS IN THE SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES

The Royal Irish Academy/Acadamh Ríoga na hÉireann champions research. We identify and recognise Ireland’s world class researchers. We support scholarship and promote awareness of how science and the humanities enrich our lives and benefit society. We believe that good research needs to be promoted, sustained and communicated. The Academy is run by a Council of its members. Membership is by election and considered the highest academic honour in Ireland.

Book cover jigsaw puzzles

A different approach to thinking about the variety of research we’ve published over the years.

Never judge a book by the cover. But thanks to our graphic designer Fidelma Slattery we do have some wonderful covers on our books, so why not try your hand at solving our book cover jigsaw puzzles? We’ve started with the books featured in our Easter week special offer, but keep an eye out in the days and weeks ahead for other interesting selections. And they might be a way to get any younger people you know interested in reading and research.
