Educational resources for primary, second and third level students

08 September 2020

The Royal Irish Academy has developed teaching material that is of use in the classroom. Designed to be both stimulating to students and integral to the relevant school curriculum, the goal is to motivate and inspire primary, second level and third level students on the island of Ireland.

Every Tuesday for the next eight weeks, we'll highlight each individual resource based on some of our publications and projects: Art and Architecture of Ireland, the Dictionary of Irish BiographyA history of Ireland in 100 wordsA history of Ireland in 100 objectsJudging Dev, Ireland 1922, Documents on Irish Foreign Policy, and the Irish Historic Towns Atlas.

Visit our educational resources area to explore our lesson plans, multi-media content, downloadable worksheets, quizzes, and more. Share our Educational Resources page with your fellow students and teachers, and use the hashtag #RIAeducation to spread the word on social media.
