THE ROYAL IRISH ACADEMY IS IRELAND'S LEADING BODY OF EXPERTS IN THE SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES

The Royal Irish Academy/Acadamh Ríoga na hÉireann champions research. We identify and recognise Ireland’s world class researchers. We support scholarship and promote awareness of how science and the humanities enrich our lives and benefit society. We believe that good research needs to be promoted, sustained and communicated. The Academy is run by a Council of its members. Membership is by election and considered the highest academic honour in Ireland.

Survey on the future of DRI Aggregation to Europeana

01 October 2020

DRI has created a survey to gather data on the expectations Irish institutions have for DRI as an Irish national aggregator for Europeana.

In 2019, as part of the Common Culture Project, the Digital Repository of Ireland became Ireland’s Europeana aggregator. As part of this project, DRI established an aggregation service and began to aggregate collections to Europeana.

In December 2020, the Common Culture Project is coming to an end. As such, we have created a survey to gather data on the expectations Irish institutions have for DRI as an Irish national aggregator beyond this project.

The results of this survey will be collated and presented at a DRI online event in November to mark the end of the Common Culture project.

The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete and will run until Friday, 9 October. You can find the survey here
