Is cuid de dhualgas an Choiste é bheith i dteagmháil leis na forais Stáit i gcoitinne, agus leis an Údarás um Ard-Oideachas go sonrach, le hinstitiúidí acadúla, agus le heagraíochtaí agus cumainn éagsúla eile, ar cheisteanna a bhaineann le Léann na Gaeilge, Litríocht na Gaeilge agus na Cultúir Cheiltigh. Is ceann dá chúraimí, leis, é aighneachtaí a réiteach ar ghnéithe ar leith de Léann na Gaeilge, agus ráitis phoiblí a dhéanamh ina dtaobh, do réir mar is cuí.
