
1916 Portraits and Lives on display in the Ulster Museum, Belfast
02 March 2016A complete set of prints from our recent publication 1916 Portraits and Lives is now on display in the Ulster Museum, Belfast.
The exhibition was officially opened on 2 March and marked with a tour of the illustrations given by James Quinn of the Dictionary of Irish Biography, who co-edited the book, and artist David Rooney. The exhibition continues until 3 April.

1916 Portraits and Lives is a selection of 40 articles from the Royal Irish Academy’s Dictionary of Irish Biography, dealing with 42 men and women whose careers, in one way or another, were deeply involved with the Easter rising of 1916. Find more information about 1916 Portraits and Lives here.
