This three-year long series of public lectures began in 2013 and explored how war, its traumas and its contested memories have proved pivotal to the formation of European identities in the 20th century. The 2016 lectures re-examined the legacies of the Easter Rising and Kate’s talk looked at the impact of the Irish revolution on the Indian Independence movement. You can listen to it here:
