
Call for applications: 2020 US-Ireland Research Innovation Awards
14 March 2018The Royal Irish Academy and the American Chamber of Commerce, Ireland have announced the shortlist for the 2018 US-Ireland Research Innovation Awards.
A joint initiative of the Academy and the American Chamber of Commerce, the awards recognise excellence in research innovation, creation and invention by an organisation, as a result of US Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Ireland. These awards acknowledge exemplary ideas, originating in Irish organisations, and underpinned by innovative research, that have a strong social and /or economic impact.
The awards are presented in three categories and the 2018 shortlist is:
Multinational Corporation Category (MNC)
- Abbott Vascular
- Alltech European Bioscience Centre
- DePuy Synthes Ireland
- Xilinx Ireland
Higher Education Institute Research Centre (HEI)
- Connect Centre for Future Networks
- DCU Insight Centre for Data Analytics
Small and Medium Enterprise (SME)
- Orreco Ltd
- OxyMem Ltd
The winners will be announced at the American Chamber of Commerce annual awards dinner on Friday 18 May in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin.
