This is the fourth volume in the series of publications ancillary to the ‘New History of Ireland’ and a companion to Walker's later volume ‘Parliamentary Election Results in Ireland 1918-1992’. Together these volumes give the results of every election held at the Dáil, Westminster, Stormont and Strasbourg up to 1992. Packed with core data revealing the minutae of the Irish electorate, it is a useful resource for any historian of modern Ireland.
About the authors
Brian Mercer Walker
Brian Mercer Walker is Emeritus Professor in the School of Politics, International Studies and Philosophy at Queenâs University Belfast. He has conducted research into nineteenth and twentieth century Irish elections. Professor Walker has edited Parliamentary Election Results in Ireland, 1801-1922 (1978) and Parliamentary Election Results in Ireland 1918-92 (1992).
