A retirement and a new face at the Dictionary of Irish Biography

Having worked with the Dictionary of Irish Biography since 1995, Dr James Quinn has retired as Managing Editor. His successor, Dr Eoin Kinsella, has previously worked with the RIA on a number of projects.

Dictionary of Irish Biography publishes 36 new entries

The DIB has published its latest collection of new entries online, adding thirty-six new lives to its corpus of nearly 11,000.
