Irish Persistent Identifier (PID) roadmap project - upcoming community events

During May and June 2024, the National Open Research Forum (NORF) and the MoreBrains Cooperative will present a series of community events on the Irish Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) Roadmap Project.
 

As part of Ireland’s National Action Plan for Open Research 2022-2030, NORF has commissioned MoreBrains Cooperative to conduct a review and analysis of the Irish persistent identifier (PID) landscape. During May and June NORF will host a series of community webinars to share updates about this project. 

Thursday 2 May 2.30 - 3.30pm: How the Irish Research Community Can Benefit from Widespread PID Adoption

This community webinar is timed to coincide with publication of MoreBrains’ report, Efficiency and insight: A cost-benefit analysis for a central service to support persistent identifier implementation in the Republic of Ireland. Learn about the methodology, process, and high-level findings of this cost benefit analysis, commissioned as part of the PID strategy roadmap.
