Kevin Gerard Daly is a geneticist who uses millenia-spanning transects ancient genomes to study the history of livestock domestication. This work has been published in international journals Science and PNAS. Kevin completed his undergraduate and PhD thesis, “Ancient Goat Genomics: Structure, Selection, and Admxiture”, at Trinity College Dublin, where he is still based. He was among the first cohort of the SFI-IRC Pathway awardees, to pursue research on the genetic health consequences to small ungulate domestication and the evolution of livestock zoonoses. In his spare time, he walks his dachshund, Moose.
