Emma Farrell is an interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in researching people's lived experiences of mental health, health and well-being. Emma is a founding member of Jigsaw, Ireland's National Centre for Youth Mental Health and Chair of Governance on the Council of Gaisce, the Presidents Award. A Chartered Psychologist with a degree in Public Health and Health Promotion, and a Masters and PhD in Education, Emma enjoys approaching social challenges from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. She is author of 'Making Sense of Mental Health: A Practical Approach Through Lived Experience' (The Liffey Press, 2022) and co-founder of thinkful.ie.
