The Academy is run by a Council of its members. Membership is by election and considered the highest academic honour in Ireland.

Recipient of PhD focusing on ‘Histories of Grangegorman Site and Society, 1770-2012’ selected

Colm Murray has been selected as PhD recipient  

We’re thrilled to announce the selection of Colm Murray as the recipient of a PhD focusing on ‘Histories of Grangegorman Site and Society, 1770-2012’. This fully-funded PhD is made possible through the support of Grangegorman Histories in partnership with TU Dublin. Colm will be undertaking this academic journey under the expert guidance of esteemed supervisors, Dr. Mary Ann Bolger, Dr. Niamh Ann Kelly, and Dr. Brian Ward.

This significant academic pursuit will unfold in close collaboration with Grangegorman Development Agency, Dublin School of Media, School of Art and Design, and School of Architecture, Building, and Environment. This exciting academic venture marks an invaluable collaboration between disciplines. We cannot wait to see the contributions that will arise from this research.
