We support scholarship and promote awareness of how science and the humanities enrich our lives and benefit society. We believe that good research needs to be promoted, sustained and communicated. The Academy is run by a Council of its members. Membership is by election and considered the highest academic honour in Ireland.

Digital Repository of Ireland / Repository Network Ireland co-host Open in Action Teachmeet for Open Access Week 2016

To celebrate Open Access Week 2016, Repository Network Ireland and Digital Repository of Ireland will co-host a Teach-meet event at the Royal Irish Academy. The event will consist of a series of short presentations on the themes of Repository Metrics and Repository Interoperability. The presentations will be shared by people working in Repositories and there will be time for questions and discussions.

DRI Software Engineer Stuart Kenny will present at the Teachmeet on DRI interfaces and repository interoperability, covering IIIF, DOI and Federated Identity.

The aim is to share information and skills. Anyone working on, or interested in, repositories is welcome to attend. Attendance is free but registration is required.
