We support scholarship and promote awareness of how science and the humanities enrich our lives and benefit society. We believe that good research needs to be promoted, sustained and communicated. The Academy is run by a Council of its members. Membership is by election and considered the highest academic honour in Ireland.

The 15th edition of the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC), 'Collective Curation: the many hands that make data work' will be run in partnership with the Digital Repository of Ireland. 

Programme

The programme will focus on community, the various stakeholders that play a role in ensuring digital objects are properly created, managed and shared. More details are availble here

  • Data stewardship
  • Preservation planning
