The Royal Irish Academy/Acadamh Ríoga na hÉireann champions research. We identify and recognise Ireland’s world class researchers. We support scholarship and promote awareness of how science and the humanities enrich our lives and benefit society. We believe that good research needs to be promoted, sustained and communicated. The Academy is run by a Council of its members. Membership is by election and considered the highest academic honour in Ireland.

Nicolas Fève

Nicolas Fève's photographic practice focuses on the relationship between text and image. His work has been exhibited in the William Frank Gallery, Dublin; the Galway City Museum (Tulca Festival of Visual Arts); the Clifden Arts Festival; the Franco-Irish Literary Festival at Dublin Castle and the Alliance Française, Dublin. His photographs have also been used on book covers, CD covers and by the Bibliothèque Mazarine, Paris. He first encountered Tim Robinson's work on his move to Ireland in 1998.
