Vaccine Questions Podcast

The Vaccine Questions podcast has been developed by the Royal Irish Academy to help the public make more informed decisions on vaccination.

In each 20-minute episode, Dick Ahlstrom will chat to experts in public health, immunology, virology, bioethics, statistics and behavioural science. He will ask questions sent in by you, the public, to make sense of the impending vaccination programme in Ireland .

Vaccines have saved hundreds of millions of lives around the world by providing long term protection against infectious diseases to people of all ages. Failure to vaccinate threatens the whole community. Vaccines’ community protection is now in danger- it is being undermined by the incorrect view that vaccination is not safe.

With Northern Ireland vaccination for coronavirus underway and rollout of coronavirus vaccines in Ireland now imminent, the RIA has created this podcast to give people reliable and trustworthy information.
