Call for nominations for the 2020 Louis-Jeantet Prizes

08 January 2019

The Scientific Committee of the Louis-Jeantet Foundation is actively searching for nominations for the 2020 Louis-Jeantet Prizes.

This year marks the launch of the new Jeantet-Collen Prize for Translational Medicine. When the research being recognised is close to practical applications for combating illnesses affecting humankind, one of the Louis-Jeantet Prizes converts into a Jeantet-Collen Prize, supported by a generous donation from the Désiré Collen Stichting.

The nomination form for both Prizes can be downloaded from the Foundation’s website, along with the standing rules

Please note that the Prizes are intended to foster innovative research work in the Council of Europe member countries, rather than honouring past accomplishments. The deadline for sending in your proposal(s) is set on February 22, 2019. To express an interest, please contact Craig Skerritt (c.skerritt@ria.ie), Policy and International Programmes Manager, Royal Irish Academy before February 15, 2019.
