The meeting considered a wide range of issues and challenges relating to Brexit, and marks the continuation of the RIA’s ongoing collaboration with the British Academy on this topic. This included two co-hosted roundtables in March 2016, which considered the implications of Brexit for the Northern Irish higher education and research sector and on UK-Ireland relations.
