Royal Irish Academy Represented on the ALLEA Board
11 June 2018Professor Luke Drury MRIA was recently elected to the ALLEA Board at ALLEA's 19th General Assembly at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia.
The ALLEA Board consists of eleven members, elected by the General Assembly, including Vice-Presidents and the ALLEA President who chairs the Board.
Professor Drury has been and continues to be an excellent ambassador and representative for the Royal Irish Academy, and we greatly appreciate the time and effort he consistently devotes to the Academy, and both our national international activities. His commitment to advancing science and his level of expertise means he is thoroughly deserving of this election.
Professor Drury’s first Board Meeting will be in Berlin in September 2018.
